What could be better than a cool electric guitar? Nothing stands aside to that overdrive and cool rock/metal sound. It allows playing on a clean tone to great crunch or heavy metal. It even allows combining these sounds with the help of various effect tools.
Choosing the right instrument can be a complicated task, so I’ll try to help you with which electric guitar to buy?
I’ll share my personal opinion which is the best ones to me depending on the construction, sound, and price.
What did you feel about entering any music store? Did all those beautiful instruments make you goofy? When it comes to making the right choice which to choose, then you don’t know where to look. But don’t worry, I’ll help you with choosing the right instrument.
I’ve tried many electric guitars and I’ve arrived at the conclusion that only 3 of them are best to me. I call them – “Big Three”
They’re my favorites, because:
- a lot of World famous musicians use them;
- they all sound different;
- they all are “Universal”
- practically, you can play everything on them;
Next steps I’ll make my personal electric guitar review.
My favorite electric guitars in the World are following
#1 Gibson
#2 Fender
#3 Ibanez
These brands are the best ones for me!
Why Gibson, Fender, and Ibanez?
Because each of them is unique, they all sound unique and they are constructed from quality materials.
Of course, this is my personal opinion and no doubt that everybody thinks and reviews differently. But, I’m telling you my personal suggestions.
For example, brands like Aria, Krammer, Schecter, Godin, Epiphone and other minor companies are different guitars or subsidiaries by “Big three”. There aren’t bad at all, they have quite good sounding and they do their job. They’re also quite good electric guitar for a beginner.
These minor brands are medium class guitars. You can play on any of them and they sound good, but soon these instruments “stop following your growing skills”. Even when testing, for example, Gibson and Schecter guitars from one price category on tube Marshall Amp or any other, it makes a huge difference between instrument sounds. So, if you’re a beginner then you can choose one of 3 mentioned brands above with no doubt. Even if you get the cheapest instrument of “Big three” then after a couple of years of practice you can always sell it to other beginners.
I’m sure after reading, these suggestions will help you with which electric guitar to buy. Check out for more resources on the internet.
If you’re an advanced player and you’re searching for a new one then Gibson, Fender or Ibanez of a higher class is for every next taste. Of course, no one knows better than you which instrument will be the one that you’ve always dreamed of, but any guitar by from these brands from about 800$ to 1500$ is a studio-like musical instrument. You must know your style and playing techniques, then you’ll pick up the real one. Remember when the instrument “calls you” like: “Hey! Here I am! Take me” then it must be yours (as a girl).
Ok, I hope that this small electric guitar review has cleared your mind in choosing the right instrument. No matter if you’re a beginner or advanced player, listen to those who have played for quite a time and share some advice. I wish you patience and power of will to achieve your goal in your practice.
What electric guitar…? It’s up to you!!!
